楽しく調査中！

It's been about a week since I last posted here.  I've been tryng to gather more information about colleges.
This is hard because I meet a lot of words that I don't really use in my daily ilfe or that have different academic meanings.
For example,,, faculty, enroll, varification...
I also want to find more about the environment, housing and transportations.

This is kinda fun though♪  This is like planning my trip. lol
Well, maybe I should be more serious, but it's very exciting because I'm doing this for my own future♪
Sometimes I feel ... let down when I found a bad information, for example, tuition is too expensive! lol

If you are thinking about studying abroad like me... I don't know if there are any readers thinking about it, lol!
but I do recommend you checking college website directly.
I read some magazines and books to learn about studying abroad.  They also contain information about some colleges.  I think that's ok to know the outline but most information is very different from the one on website.
And it's fun to explore :-)
So... I've been enjoying gathering college information lately♪

248yen happiness

Lunch break ♪
Because I was lazy this morning I bought lunch instead of bringing something from home.
I'll finish lunch quickly then spend relaxing time until going back to work.
This 248yen Ginmusubi Bento is good for quick lunch:-)
And I can buy it at a train station on the way to work. I can sve time, I can save money ... and it prevents too much eating.
Perfect for my break at work♪

ちょっとオトナになっただけ

One of my buddies, almost 15 year old silver mamachari bicycle! lol The essential transportation for me♪
When I rush to the train station my buddy always helps me. Looks old but very reliable!
I went to a town office before catching my train this morning. I got a plan to go on a trip and need to renew my passport in advance.
Finally... yeah, finally I can say goodbye to my old picture on it!
Usually, I don't really care about my picures on ID things. I don't care how I look like because it's just a ID.
But the one on my passport is terrible!...seriously! lol
Of course it's an old picture. I look totally different.
...it's so different that people ask me questions... especially at the departure when I fly back to Japan.
Officers say "wow..." "what happened?" lol! Nothing has happened! I just got a little more mature, I guess! lol
They ask me that kind of things smiling, just joking. So I got used to it and I just say "haha! I know!"
Everybody says something when I show my passport picture...
How do I look like in the picture?
I... have blond layer hair, gray eyes, wearing chunky necklace with skulls... rock chick look, never looks like a nice person. loluh-huh, I'm more mature and well-rounded :-)
... I still like rock chick look though♪
and... I could happen to anybody. Your passport, driver's license, company ID,,, maybe ;-)It's a little bit sad to say goodbye to my old passport because I have been to many places with that terrible picture lol
but I'm looking forward to having a new one ...one with a mature look♪

負けとられんわ

Beautiful Sunday afternoon. I was at Peace Memorial Park. As I posted before, the park is one of my favorite places in my town.
I've been spending a very good day off.
I went walking for an hour in the morning, took English classes and went to an electronics store... I wanted to check cameras because I'm interested in taking pictures and thinking about having a new camera♪
Then I went to the park for an open-air reading time :-)
Now I'm at a coffee shop because it became a little too chilly to read & study outside.
...yeah, I need to study more.
Usually, I don't really have a chance to speak English at work. But I had a customer from the US yesterday. She was a young woman visiting Hiroshima on her vacation. She told me she was from Arizona and... speaking so fast!
It seemed like girls in reality shows! I had a hard time to catch her...
And she was talking very assertively then I became a little unconfident lol because I thought my English was so broken!
She was a nice person. She told me I was helpful,,, but I could tell she definitely looked confused when I was talking to her.
She was having a hard time too...to understand me! lol
It's not only about my English ability but also my communication ability and confidence.
It made me imagine "me at a college"... I'm spending time with people like her...
I really thought "I wish I could speak more!" That was a good lesson! :-)

雨のおかげさま♪

It started raining here in Hiroshima.

I've ever said
"I don't like rain ...especially on my day off!"
The person I was talking to told me
"Rain's good too.  Just stay there and chill out.  Enjoy a quiet day.  You can relax more on a rainy day♪"

Well, I'm not staying home today, I have to go to work,,,
But I always remember this small conversation when it rains,
and it makes me feel calm and positive :-)
I like rain now♪

ORANGE DAY

So...
How many people know about Orange Day?
I've heard of the name.
They say it is the day to be aware of love,,, and confirm love.

February 14... Valentine's Day
March 14... White Day

April 14... Orange Day!!

What's next?  Does anybody know?  :-)

Talking about orange...
I have this yoga DVD at home.
Because I can't go running for a while, I try to do this low impact yoga thing instead.
I'm not a very serious yoga person, I just do it for fun only when I want.  So I'm always the beginner level but it doesn't matter :-)
And every time I do this power yoga, it works so much to my body!
Next day surprise... happy to feel muscular pain! lol  especially on my shoulders, arms, back around shoulder blades and much on my sides!
That's good♪  It seems like making my bad parts better. :-)

今日は「オレンジデー」...ポピュラーではなさそうだけど...愛を感じながらステキな一日を過ごしたいものです♪
私はご自宅DVDヨガのおかげで、ガンガン筋肉痛を感じています！効いてる気がして良い！(笑)

hungry!ちょいフライング

Thank God It's Friday!

How are you doing on your Friday night?  Is anybody going to a party?  ...I am! :-)

My friends invited me to a HANAMI party♪

Unfortunately, it's still drizzling outside here in Hiroshima.  I guess it'll stop soon but the ground will be still wet tonight.  So we will have a party... just a party without cherry blossoms at a restaurant.

Well,,, if they have nice chilly beer and good food, I'll be there anyway♪

Because I could leave work early today and my friends are still at work, this is like a pass-my-time post today.

I'm already hungry... but I know I shouldn't eat much now.  I'm writing here over some pieces of chocolate.

... This chocolate is good though :-)

C'mon 御天道様！

This is about yesterday morning.

I had an appiontment with a bank person before work.
So I left home earlier than usual.
When I finished my bank stuff, I had almost one hour freetime before starting work.
I thought about passing my time at a coffee shop,
but I changed my mind.
I bought a cup of To Go offee then enjoyed sit & read :-)

It was a very warm sunny morning.
Perfect for an open-air reading time ...I was reading an English practise book though  lol...

I should do this more often♪
and I wanna enjoy the sunshine more! :-)



銀行の用事で早く家を出たおかげで、仕事前に青空読書を堪能できた♪

もっともっと、お日様の光を浴びたい季節になってきたぁ！

がっかり！でも大切にする

My second day of 2 days off started with seeing a doctor...
Well,,, it's not that serious :-)
but shocking...
Why did I need to see a doctor?
Because... my knee was hurting soooooo much!
yeah, it was because of my running...

The doctor told me to stop running for a while and do some low impact exercise.
I was very shocked!  Because I enjoyed running very very very much last year... before a sprain...
I thought it would be easy to restart running and have tried this year.
But I know it's my fault... because I know I often tend to try too much! lol  When I go running, I keep running even if my body parts start hurting!... haha.
I just don't wanna give up!
Sigh... I feel I'm getting older! lol   ...but, yeah, maybe I should be smarter now ;-)
Low impact exercise first, like walking and yoga, so I build enough muscle then go back to running♪
I hope I will be able to go running during summer time like I did last year :-)
... The older I get the more care I need... ha! I learned!

2連休の2日目は通院でスタート。深刻なことじゃないけど、ショッキング・・・
で、なんで病院なんて行ったかって。だって・・・ひざがめっちゃ痛くて！
えぇ、走ってるせいよ。
先生曰く、走るのやめて軽い運動にしろと。
がっかり！だって去年は走りにいくのがもう楽しくて楽しくて♪、、、捻挫するまではね。だからまた始めるのもなんてことないと思って今年再開して。
でもね、私がいけないのよ。いつもつい頑張りすぎ(笑)どこか痛かろうが何だろうが走り続けちゃう！諦めるみたいでイヤとか思って！
ハァ～、歳とってんだ(笑)まぁ、ムチャせずちょっとは賢くなれってことだぁ。
歩くとかヨガとか軽めの運動で筋肉つけて、また走ろう♪　去年みたいに夏に走れるといいな。
歳のぶんだけケアが要る・・・ 覚えとこ！

ちょっとサボってた。。。

Sunny Monday morning!

...my 2days off has started!  yeah♪

I was busy recently, so I got many things I wanna do during this off time.
I didn't write anything here for a few days... finally, updating♪

I want to take some English classes, go shopping a little,,,
Of course, I'm gonna spend more time to gather information about colleges.
Clean my room, exercise more, visit my friend,,,
I'm gonna have good 2 days off ;-)

Well, actually, I'm on my computer to finish my sales report! lol
I gotta do this quickly so I can enjoy my time as much as possible!
Everybody have a good begining of a week♪

お天気の良い月曜日！私は２連休の始まり♪
最近忙しかったから、この休みでやりたいことがいっぱいです。
ここも何日か書いてなかったし、、、やっと更新♪
英会話に行きたいし、買い物にも、、、留学の情報収集もするよっ。
部屋のおそうじして、運動して、友達にも会うし、、、いい２連休になるね。
・・・まぁ、実はいまパソコンで仕事のレポート中！(笑) さっと済ませて、はやく休日時間にしなきゃ！
