Thank you!!!

I left work today.  I still feel very wierd and can't imagine that I'm not going to work any more because I was working as a sales person for more than 12 years.  Work was always top priority in my life for a long time...
As I left work I told "good-bye" and "thank you" to people at work and some of my customers, I realized that I am so lucky that I am always supported by very nice people around me.  I really feel I'm lucky to have a great experience there. 
本日で仕事が終了。12年間セールスとして、とにかく仕事第一で勤務していたので、退職というのがまだ実感なく、よくわかりません。。。
職場の方々や近いお客様にごあいさつしながら、、、私は本当に人に恵まれ、良い人たちに支えられてきているな、と改めて実感しました。私の人生、たくさんの貴重な経験ができて本当にラッキーだと思います。

A beautiful long stem rose from a customer.

Not because I got a flower from them, just because I accepted their feeling and caring, I feel happy.

I can say working in the sales field is tough very very... very often, but I also say I can learn a lot from dealing with people and it brings me a pleasure.  I appreciate it.

キレイなお花を頂いた。花だからというわけではなく、気にかけてくださっていたという気持ちがとてもうれしい :-)　こういう仕事って、たしかに大変。でも「人」から多くを学び、大変なぶん喜びもたくさん。ありがたいことです。

帰国後２週間、早いけど、もっと長い気がした

It's been about 2 weeks since I came back from my trip.  I feel,,, it was more than 2 weeks.  Like when I was in NYC, it's because so many things are going on with me and it's kept me busy, I guess.  As soon as I came back to work,,, "welcome back to the reality!" I started dealing with many issues, like finishing some report, submitting sales plans for a half year, giving job interviews and more...  When I was away from work, I went to banks many times to receive documents and a check that I had to send to the states, went out with my friends several times... and I got sick, too...lol

Sometimes it is tough for me to keep preparing for the future dealing with "NOW" which has a lot of important things... my "NOW" is mostly WORK! lol  But it's fun to do it at the same time because I'm really looking forward to my future :-)

I don't know what's gonna happen in the future but I appreciate that I already got a lot of chance to try in my life :-)  I've been learing a lot from my experience since I decided to study abroad.

Tomorrow will be like Friday for me because I'm not working on Tuesday.  I'm wondering what to do tomorrow night so I can relax a little bit before starting my day off...

If I leave work early tomorrow, I might go to a movie "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"

...I'm sure I'm gonna cry.   

NY旅行から帰って来て２週間ほど。なんだかもっと長い気がする。旅行中といっしょで、いろんなことで忙しいからかな。。。仕事という現実に戻って書類作りからなんだかんだと、そして仕事の合間に何度も銀行の用事があってみたり、友達に会ったり、、、カゼひいたり。
時々、すごく大事な「今」のことをやりながら…私の場合の「今」ってほぼ仕事のことだけど（笑）…先の準備を常に続けていくことが大変だと思うことがあります。でも同時に充実して楽しいとも思います、だってこれからのことが楽しみだから。
まぁこの先どうなるかは分からないけど、人生でたくさんトライするチャンスに恵まれていることに感謝。いまのこの忙しい日々もとてもよい勉強です。
明日は休み前日♪夜は何をしようかと考え中、、、休日前夜のちょっと一息、リセットタイムを。時間があれば映画かな、「ものすごくうるさくて、ありえないほど近い」・・・きっと泣くな、わたし。

It's getting colder and colder... and people started getting ready for Chrismas.  I'm becoming busier and having more customers than usual.  I know we're gonna have a crazy busy "hard work!" time very soon, but it's ok.  Because it's much better than being bored at work! lol 

Because I got many things to do, I left work later than I usually do.  And I wanted to finish one more work before going home... one more thing which is called "homework"

I know my switch will be off automatically and immediately! so I'd better stay out and finish it because I have to bring it to my English class tomorrow night.

Having 2 cups of cofee, I just finished my homework.  While I'm staying out, I'm writing some here:-)

I had my homework done, I'm working on my blog... which I haven't really updated recently, lol

I could refresh myself and enjoyed my own relaxing cofee time...

Now it's time to head my home sweet home♪      ...Have a good night☆

年末なんてあっという間

One schedule book for this year, one more schedule book for next year, another notebook for my college planning and smaller notebook to put in my pocket as a "to-do list" at work...

1-2 books to read during breaks, dictionary, and more personal belongings...

I got everything in my daily bag and it becomes big and heavy!

Carrying 2 schedule books means "One year is ending very soon."

And it means the busiest time of an year "Christmas season" is coming!

A lot more customers everyday, the higher sales target... and we gotta work longer everyday.

What I need to do for Christmas is

Staying healthy + tough!

職場ガールズトーク

"trick or treat"

One of my coworkers and I was having a... a girls' conversation at work.

It was about a very common topic "Ideal Man" things.  lol

My coworker is 10 year younger than me.  I know her taste is very different from mine!

She told me to give the most important requirements because she was curious and I guess she got a lot more requirements. lol

I said...

1. a man who works really hard

2. a man who doesn't have anybody else

3. a man who is attractive

When I mentioned number 2, my coworker said "That's too basic!, too fundamental!"

Yeah, I know.  But it can be the hardest part though! lol

Well, number 1 is what I always think.  I don't mean he needs to be very rich but I want him to be dedicated to his job and proud of it.... and... managing what he's doing well by himself. ...whatever he does♪

3 is... maybe I can also say "seductive" lol

I used to give a lot more requirements.  The older I get, the simpler it gets!

Chatting with my 10year younger coworker reminded me that I've got older more mature!

That's good though ;-)

Life's funny♪

Thinking, thinking,,, and thinkg.

I'm thinking a lot ... in the locker room... during lunch break...

I got a new stuff to take care of at work.  I'm not gonna tell you what it is but it's a very important issue, I know.  I never consider it as a PROBLEM but I'm sure I gotta deal with it keeping myself motivated.

Things keep coming up!  Moreover, they get tougher very often! lol

But it's OK!  They (who?! lol) always give me a chance to learn and become stronger + smarter! haha!

But seriously, I'm very lucky to meet a lot of chance to learn everyday.  Working as a manager is a very important experience and career before studying business field in the US.

I appreciate all the problems and things happened to me!  ;-) 

All I can do is...  just believing I can handle them!  haha♪

POP☆POP ストレスが私を走らせる！

My current uplifting music for my exercise time :-)

I started running a few days ago.  I usually try to go about 4km but I did 6km :-) because I had more time today.  Yes, it's my day off today♪

Because I hurt my knee before, I pay more attention to it and go slowly.  Sometimes I switch to walking when my knee feels funny.  So... it's more like slow jogging right now.  I try to keep doing this and I hope I will be able to run like I used to :-)

During summer time, I often went out before my holidays.  But I didn't last night. lol

I had been dealing with some... tough stuff at work for about a week.  Finally, it's getting settled ;-)  And yesterdays, I could finish the most stressful (haha!) paperwork which always takes so long!

So... I decided to go straight home last night :-) then I took a nice long bath and went to bed early... looking forward to jogging early in the morning♪

Now I feel really good!  My body's sore, haha! but I'm so relieved ;-)  I'll have a good day off today!

たまらん香♪...これでがんばる♪

Ah.............. smells good♪

I'm addicted to this cologne in the middle of the picture. 

When I was walking around before going back to Hiroshima, I met this scent at a department store in Tokyo.  This small black bottled cologne is a limited edition, they say.  I guess I should buy one more soon because it smells so good!  If someome with this cologne walk pass, I will follow the person! lol

I know I haven't been writing much here recently.  Well, let me make an excuse... I was busy! lol

And I'm sure I'll be busier and busier at work toward Christmas and New Year season because I work at a sales department.  It's much better than being bored though! lol

So... I'm going to try to spend time for myself and treat ME good♪ :-)

Sometimes I think,,, for example exercise, I tend to think like "I know I gotta do some exercise but I've been busy.  Maybe I should start when I have more time!"... Then, I don't start it even when I got less busy!  That means I can do it whenever I really want to, even if I'm busy.  Yeah, so right! lol

I guess it sounds very strange but I feel I have 2 brains! lol

One is dominated by work stuff and another is trying to work on college + English stuff.  God is fair, everybody has 24 hours a day :-)  I gotta switch them on and off well.  Sometimes I imagine like "if I had an easier job with less responsibility, I could focus on my college plan more and improve my english faster because I would have more time" but I know it doesn't really matter like exercise thing. lol

Besides that I do prefer MY situation to an easier job.  I still keep learning a lot from managing a store.  This practical study is not waht I can get while sitting in a business class at a school ;-)  I'm lucky♪ 

Then I will treat myself better.  I should take good care of me :-)  so I can stay healthy and happy♪

It got cooler, fall has come.

Exercise, reading,,, feeding yourself with  the best season food :-)  Let's treat ourselves GOOD♪

今日はおのぼりさん♪

Business trip! I'm going to Tokyo today.
As soon as I arrived at Shinagawa, I have to go to the office in Sendagaya and stay there all day.
I know it's gonna be a very important meeting and also a good chance to talk to people at the head office or managers from other shops face to face.
It's ... stressful but I really like it! Because I always work far away from Tokyo lol, everything is like stimulus :-)
Especially this time, I will talk to my bosses about my college plan... that means talking about my leaving. I like my job, I like people here,,, so... I want to leave everything alright when I move on :-)
If I finish everything today, I will have some free time tomorrow. I will visit our shops in Shinjuku, Harajuku and Ginza to say hello to my coworkers and see what they are doing. Then I want to enjoy some more Tokyo Time before going back to Hiroshima. I'm wondering where to walk around :-)Well, I'm around Kyoto now.
I still have 2 more hours before arriving at Shinagawa. I will enjoy the beautiful weather outside and have a little more relaxing time♪
Oh, I have to remember to see Fuji san, too! ;-)

Today, my brain is made of...

20% : The upcoming event at work for our VIP customers when we are supposed to make more sales than

usual.

20% : Daily sales target.

10% : Submitting monthly sales plan for October.  The deadline is tomorrow.

20% : Finishing my essay for application.

20% : Upcoming TOEFL in a few days.

10% : Trip in September♪

Just like that! lol

That's why this is called "laptop" :-)

hmm... this is much easier than touching my small cellphone screen♪ 

Because I am planning a trip, I was thinking about bringing my laptop which I always use at home.  But my laptop at home is big... and heavy.  As you know, it's gonna be way too expensive if I access internet though my cellphone abroad.  I was wondering how I should do.

Like I wrote before... I'm not good at IT stuff, lol.  I didn't know about "iPad" "Wifi"

So,,, I went to a store and ask the sales people for a help! ;-)

Then... this is what I chose, a netbook with WiMAX reception in it.  They say I can use this computer during my trip to the states♪  "without any extra charge"

That's good, right?  :-)

一息つかせて

Human resource management is... difficult!
Sometimes I feel "I wish there were people who have same character, same attitude, same feeling as me!"
...I know it's impossible.
...and it's very weird if I imagine a bunch of me! haha!
Various people, various thouhts. We all live together and we gotta get along with it.
I want to know how they do it well... I mean administrators, supervisors and any boss who have their people...
WASABI is struggling! lol I'm not gonna give up yet! ;-)

Happy Candy Time at work again!
Because of holiday time, my parents came to my work and gave us waffles and cupcakes♪
We are all girls... allow me to call myself a girl! lol
Everybody gets happy with sweet stuff♪We are having a lot of customers and doing pretty good today! Thank you, GW!!!
Work hard, eat a lot, drink a lot too :-) and be happy♪

How's everybody doing on Golden Week?
Me... at work! :-)
Because I work at a store in the city, I see more people shopping ... or maybe window-shopping around here. It seems very crowded outside.
Oh, Hiroshima City is having a festival which is called Flower Festival. The center of the festival is blocks away from here. I don't know how it's going but I guess many people visit there and enjoying parade, live music, food from stalls and so on.Now, I'm enjoying my good lunch break,,, having some candy♪
I know this is very fattening... but I love this peanut butter thing. lol
Well, I don't eat all at once ;-) I keep a package in my locker and eat little by little at my candy time. Have a good Golden Week holiday time!

248yen happiness

Lunch break ♪
Because I was lazy this morning I bought lunch instead of bringing something from home.
I'll finish lunch quickly then spend relaxing time until going back to work.
This 248yen Ginmusubi Bento is good for quick lunch:-)
And I can buy it at a train station on the way to work. I can sve time, I can save money ... and it prevents too much eating.
Perfect for my break at work♪

This is about yesterday morning.

I had an appiontment with a bank person before work.
So I left home earlier than usual.
When I finished my bank stuff, I had almost one hour freetime before starting work.
I thought about passing my time at a coffee shop,
but I changed my mind.
I bought a cup of To Go offee then enjoyed sit & read :-)

It was a very warm sunny morning.
Perfect for an open-air reading time ...I was reading an English practise book though  lol...

I should do this more often♪
and I wanna enjoy the sunshine more! :-)

STAIRWAY TO...

Another beautiful day!
They say it's gonna warm today,
but might rain suddenly too here in Hiroshima.

I've been trying to gather more information about colleges/universities when I have time.
Mostly on the websites.
I guess it's much more convenient than years ago thanks to the internet.
Tuition, housing, courses, scholarship, transfar...
I can see anything I want, anytime I want.
It's fun♪
...but also hard to find everything by myself! lol
Because there are many colleges in the US
and reading their websites is already like English practise... because of many new academic words that I don't really use in my daily life... :-)  That's good I guess!

Looking forward to my future... I gotta go to work today too! lol
The end of month, the inventory day, sales report deadline,,, is coming!    .....fun, fun, fun.   ahh....

♪....and she's going down a stairway to .... WORK!

超... 静かなんです

I'm having 30 minutes of short break now.
There are some places for employees to take a break.
Now I'm in one of then on basement floor.
This smll room has 2 vending machines, some tables and chairs.
We all spend time as we like.
Having snacks, reading books, playing with cellphone, taking a nap...
VERY QUIETLY!! lol
Nobody's talking in this room right now.I'm gonna finish my tea... quietly too.
Gotta be careful not to make noise, lol ... so I won't bother anybody!We all have to talk to customers all day long.
I understand we definitely need a silent break sometimes :-)Alright, time to go!
